National Disability Institute was invited to attend a meeting with SSA Deputy Commissioner Carolyn Colvin yesterday in Orlando, Florida. Michael Roush represented NDI at the meeting, where Ms. Colvin provided select Florida-based organizations updates on SSA activities and sought input from attendees on challenges and recommendations for SSA to address. Representatives from Disability Rights of Florida, Florida Developmental Disabilities Council and University of South Florida’s Center for Inclusive Communities also attended the meeting.
