Meet Our Team

Biography

Shannon Edam is the Project Coordinator for the Workforce Innovation Technical Assistance Center (WINTAC). She earned a master’s degree in Ethics, Peace and Global Affairs from American University’s School of International Service in 2014, and a master’s degree in Education from Lesley University in 2016. Shannon studied abroad in Belgium, Ghana, Cuba and Mexico, focusing on human rights and politics, then applied her passion for social justice by serving individuals with disabilities in Washington, DC. She worked as reasonable accommodation for a human rights professor, taught literacy in urban middle schools and ended homelessness for adults with mental illness through her work at Pathways to Housing, DC. Shannon also has extensive experience in project management and financial services. She is excited about her new role at NDI and is committed to improving economic outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
