Recently, Michael Roush presented a Certificate of Appreciation to PARC on behalf of National Disability Institute's collaboration with United Way of Tampa Bay and the Virtual VITA Pilot Project in the State of Florida. During the 2012 tax season, the Virtual VITA Pilot explored tax preparation via virtual meeting (i.e. webcams) for taxpayers in remote/rural areas and for those with limited mobility.
PARC is a new partner with NDI's Real Economic Impact Tour and has been a very active partner in the Virtual VITA Pilot Project.
PARC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities to exercise their independence and experience life to the fullest. www.parc-fl.org
